After twenty years in investment banking, I decided to try and do something genuinely worthwhile : create and run a vineyard ; making wines that would give pleasure to those who drank them. And, one day in December 2000 I woke up to the realisation that as the proud owner of 10 hectares, I had 40,000 vines to prune ...

And I was lucky enough to embark on this adventure with the physical, moral and emotional support of Mary Mertens and Brice Velluet, without whom La Brillane would never have seen the light of day.
