The Domaine
Domaine de La Brillane is a vineyard set in the heart of the countryside, facing the Montagne Sainte Victoire – the source of inspiration to Cézanne and many others. But at the same time we are only 7 km north of Aix en Provence, famous for its international lyric art festival, its fountains and its beauty; and 40 minutes from the beaches of the Mediterranean.
We have spent the last seven years creating our dream : a vineyard committed to producing high quality wine. But as well as wine, we wanted to create a place for people to come and stay, 5 Bed and Breakfast rooms where they could see for themselves what drew us to the region – the peace and tranquillity; the sound of the cicadas on a summer evening, and the pleasure of the siesta on a hot July afternoon. Provence, for us, has it all : sun, good food, beautiful colours, evocative smells, culture, history ….
